Geographically correct, except that I think east of the Cascades is better than west now,but perhaps south of the Olympics is roughly equivalent to the east side socially but wetter. My materal (but limited) experience in litigation and advising persons on good and bad makes me think that white hearts and empty heads cause more problems that blackguards. (At least more often, considering Stalin & Hitler.) I have no data to present. Good intent/bad result versus bad intent/OK result was going to be a theme or a sub-motif of a book I was going to write. it was to be set in wartime. Think of the popular conception US Grant getting drunk for battles (he didn't from almost all accounts). I will strive to do the right thing in the right way an the right time for the right reason.
